by Courtney Hartford on Oct 06, 2020

MIA Peru (which stands for "Mothers in Action") is a fair trade certified fashion brand that creates ethically-produced fashion with motherly love.
The company's mission is to support mothers and communities in the Peruvian Andes through entrepreneurial training, workshops and lectures about education, nutrition, respect for the environment and more.

Each sweater is handmade by skillful knitters in MIA Peru communities. Mothers are able to knit from the comfort of their own home, that way they can look after their children while knitting.
